Registration for the SAM ASH CAROLINA BATTLE OF THE BANDS begins on July 25th and will run through September 30th. Voting will begin on October 1st and run through October 30th. Register your band and get your fans to vote! It’s that easy!

There is a $15.00 band registration fee. Your next step is to get as many fans as possible to visit the websites and vote for your band. There is no limit to the number of times your fans may vote. Band Registration Period begins July 25, 2008 and ends September 30, 2008. All registered bands will be notified one week prior to the band registration close date and reminded to get their fans to start voting on October 1, 2008. The Fan Voting Period begins October 1st and ends October 30th. You will have 30 days to get as many fans as possible to vote for your band.

Final votes will be announced once the fan voting period closes on October 30, 2008. The top 3 bands receiving the most votes from the Raleigh region will compete against the top 3 bands receiving the most votes from the Charlotte region. The top 6 registered bands with the most votes from their fans will be notified between November 2nd and November 5th. The top 6 registered bands with the most votes will then compete on Friday, November 14th and Saturday, November 15th in Charlotte, NC during the 7th Annual Mid-Atlantic Music Conference. All performance will take place at Sam Ash Music Store in Charlotte, 5533 Westpark Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217.

There will be 3 bands performing on each night with Charlotte region bands performing on Friday night and Raleigh region bands performing on Saturday night. Each band will have the time to perform 3 songs. The final winner will be announced on Saturday night after the last performance by our panel of judges. The winning band will have the first of 6 performances on Sunday, November 16th at Sam Ash Music Store in Charlotte, NC.

All registered bands receive 2 complimentary Mid-Atlantic Music Conference registrations. All music will be played on MMC Radio. All registered bands must be high school and college students and reside in the Raleigh and Charlotte, NC regions. Your fans could get you paid and put you on the road!
